Team managers have access to post and edit available ice to this page for trade or sale.
2024/25 FLHA Ice Scheduler Request Form
Please use the link below to request any ice time you may need or dates you would like blacked out for your team. Please read the items below prior to submitting your request:
- Requests for full day blackouts will NOT be accepted on any Saturday or Sunday
- You should expect to get ice on the day you are requesting your blackout unless it is a weekday.
- Submission of a request does NOT guarantee it will be honored but we will do our best to accommodate the request if possible
We are no longer accepting ice requests because all ice was published for the rest of the season on 12/17/2024.
INSTRUCTIONS TO POST AND EDIT AVAILABLE ICE:
- Editing Instructions - TBD
- The SELLING MANAGER emails the Ice Scheduler (ice@flhockey.org) of the trade so that the rink will be notified and the barker at the arena (a.k.a. the scrolling screen with locker room assignments) will be updated.
- If selling ice outright to another team, SELLING MANAGER emails the Treasurer (treasurer@flhockey.org) about the sale and CC’s the buying team’s manager.
ATTENTION MITE/8U TEAMS:
- Mite/8U Teams (regardless of level) are NOT allowed to sell their FLHA assigned ice to another team.
- Mite/8U teams can either give their ice away or swap with another Mite/8U team.
- If a Mite/8U team is not going to attend a practice, please notify the team you are practicing with.

Selling ice to Non-FLHA Teams:
If you have ice in Forest Lake that you no longer want and you can't find a team to buy it internally, you have the option to sell it externally. Follow the steps below to sell your ice externally:
- Advertise your ice on whatever platform you feel necessary or reach out to other teams/associations directly.
- Secure a team to buy your ice
- Submit an email to treasurer@flhockey.org not less than 1 week prior to the ice time with the following information:
- Date and time of ice being sold:
- Sellers Name:
- Sellers Email:
- Sellers Phone Number:
- Sellers Association Team Name:
- Buyers Name:
- Buyers Email:
- Buyers Phone Number:
- Buyers Association Name:
- Buyers Association Team Name:
- Attach Buyers Association W-9 (For billing)
Please note that all teams buying ice from an FLHA team must pay the ice bill prior to the start of the ice time. This is a Forest Lake Sports Center requirement and not an FLHA requirement.
Buying ice in Forest Lake (Non-FLHA Teams)
If you are a non-FLHA team that would like to purchase any of the ice listed in the Ice For Sale or Trade table above, please follow the steps below to buy the ice:
- Contact the team manager listed for the time slot you would like to purchase and tell them you would like to buy the ice as a non-FLHA team.
- Have FLHA team's manager submit an email to treasurer@flhockey.org not less than 1 week prior to the ice time with the following information:
- Date and time of ice being sold:
- Sellers Name:
- Sellers Email:
- Sellers Phone Number:
- Sellers Association Team Name:
- Buyers Name:
- Buyers Email:
- Buyers Phone Number:
